School-Based Mental Health Program By Unison Health

Welcome to Unison Health's School-Based Program

At Unison Health, we understand the importance of addressing mental health and behavioral challenges in children within the school environment. Our School-Based Program offers comprehensive support services tailored to meet the unique needs of students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Our School-Based Program provides quality mental health and behavioral support to students in partner schools within the Toledo Public Schools district and at Independence Education Center (IEC). Our dedicated team of licensed and unlicensed professionals is trained to deliver assessments, individual and group therapy, and behavioral support services.

Who Qualifies

Children in grades K-12 who attend one of our partner schools and have a qualifying mental health diagnosis are eligible for our program. We partner with schools, including:

Byrnedale Elementary

Raymer Elementary

Reynolds Elementary

Robinson Elementary

Toledo Technology Academy of Engineering

Pre-Medical Health Sciences Academy

Independence Education Center

Untreated mental health and behavioral challenges in children can lead to various difficulties, including:

decreased academic performance

challenges in forming positive relationships

increased disciplinary actions

ongoing emotional distress

Our program aims to intervene early, providing support to address these issues effectively.

Transformative Benefits

Engaging with our School-Based Program can lead to remarkable improvements in children's lives. From enhanced mood and improved emotional regulation to better decision-making skills and decreased disciplinary actions, our program empowers children to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We also focus on fostering a positive outlook towards the future and enhancing overall well-being.
